Paperwork mailed today assures 911 project bids can be let Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton received a call from Colleen Chaney, Department of Local Government, that the paperwork for the new 911 Dispatch Center, was being put in the mail today, Tuesday, July 10, 2007. "Once we receive the paperwork," Judge Melton said, "we can put the project out to bid." The state check will be for $238,200, according to Lisa Lee, adminstrative assistant to the CJE. Female juvenile jailed, charged with assaulting trooper The Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, issued a report at 1:36pm today that Trooper Greg Brown was assaulted by a female juvenile after he arrived at Spectrum Care Academy in response to a complaint. The incident occurred at around 9:00am CT, this morning, Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Spectrum Care Academy is located five miles north of Columbia, KY. The juvenile was taken into custody and charged with assault, 3rd degree and resisting arrest. She was lodged in the Adair County Juvenile Detention Center.
