District 6: The ACRD will be finishing (with the exception of a few loads of DGA--Dense Grade Aggregate) construction on the Old Perkins Road.Then they will move to the Renfro Ballou Road in District 6 to replace a cross tile. Districts 2 & 7: The mowing crew will continue on the county roads off KY Hwy E80. All Districts: One crew will be cold patching on various roads in all district. By Fay Wright I am writing to say how much I have appreciated seeing all of the photos of the Western Bypass construction being done by the hard-working crew of Haydon Brothers Contracting. One I am most proud of is my husband J.W. Wright; he has been a construction worker; for over 40 years; his late Dad Henry Wright got him started in the construction work; and J.W. carries on the family tradition today. 364 will be Kentucky's newest Area Code Change takes place October 1, 2007. Adair County remains in 270 area code. New number will cover western portion of current area code 270 By Andrew Melnykovych (Commonwealth News Service)The number 364 has been selected as Kentucky's newest area code. It will cover the western portion of the current area code 270, which includes the cities of Henderson, Hopkinsville, Madisonville, Murray and Paducah. The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) today received notification of the new number from the North American Numbering Plan Administrator (NANPA), which is responsible for allocating phone numbers to telecommunication providers.
