From there we boarded the cars to New York and Boston. Near the latter city was a college of some repute -- Harvard. That school met all of her requirements, chiefly that it be above the snow line. We happened to arrive just after letters of acceptance had been mailed. The admissions office hustled us off to join a tour whilst they arranged a lunch for us. At the lunch Elizabeth met with a delightful admissions counselor, also a faculty member, Richard Marius. ACRD maintenance schedule Tuesday, June 12, 2007 The Adair County Road Department will be moving the Athey Loader and Grader to District 6 on the Old Perkins Road today, they will begin ditching and putting tiles in the road this evening and tomorrow. Other work includes: District 1: Two crews are cold patching on various roads. District 2 & 7 Two crews are mowing the roadsides on various roads off Hwy E80. District 3: One crew is using the boom mower in District 3. ACHS Class of 2008 Senior Portrait Information Attention parents and students of the class of 2008:By Chad Parnell, ACHS Yearbook Advisor Senior portrait information will be arriving in the mail in the next few weeks. Graham Photography from Bowling Green will be taking the Senior portraits. Portraits will be taken at ACHS on July 27, 30, and 31. Seniors will receive a card that lists the day and time they should be at ACHS. Seniors should only come at their designated time. On the appointment day, Seniors will have their formal picture taken for the yearbook and have some poses with various backdrops to choose from, as well.
