Note on Parks & Rec logo critiques; keep them coming! Thanks for your comments--and keept them coming An important note for those comment is that there is no official voting site. The decision on the logo is the prerogative of the Parks & Recreation Board: Charles Grimsley, Donna Shirley (logo chairperson), David Herbst, Richard Phelps, and Greg Thomas, all of whom want your comments, suggestions, and wisdom to help them make their final choice. That being said, ColumbiaMagazine.com greatly appreciates everyone who sends in comments to ColumbiaMagazine.com on the Parks & Recreation logo contest. It is a fun competition and maybe those who comment here will have some influence on those with the responsibility to make the decison. We may not be able to post all comments, but we'll make every effort to post those state reasons for their choices, and which are signed and have verifiable contact informations. If you don't want your name or contact information posted, just let us know. Click here to read the article with the three final logo choices listed and displayed. And, if you get a chance, see the authentic, original entries on display in the window of Grimsley Jewelry, on the Square in in Downtown, Historic & Memorable Old Columbia, Adair County, Kentucky. 2007-06-10 14:17:56 | Comments | Printable version
