Remembering James Pyles: We lost a good one Jason Harmon remembers a fishing feat at Prince's Lake, IN To the editor, ColumbiaMagazine.com: I was saddened to see the news of James Pyles death. He was a good ol' buddy to my Uncle Bobby McGaha. I remember him coming up to stay at my parents lake house at Prince's Lake, Indiana, several years back. He had set out fishing poles in hopes of landing a catfish during the night. Early that next morning, the pole was doubled over. It was a big 'un. He didn't bother waking anyone in the house. This was his catch and his alone. This was a man well into his 70's who reeled the monster in by himself and then carried it up a huge flight of steps to my mom's front door. I was amazed. My sympathies to the Pyles family. Another good one has gone. s/Jason Harmon Click here to read the obituary of James B. Pyles 2007-05-19 04:08:55 | Comments | Printable version
