Remembering Tom Hutchinson of 1964 NFL Champion Browns

To the editor, ColumbiaMagazine.com

Mr. Tom Hutchinson was quite an athlete and a Hall of Fame Wildcat. He was a 3-time All-SEC split end for the Wildcats from 1960 -'62. He was the all-time leading receiver for over 30 years. His record was not broken until 1997. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns and played on the 1964 World Champion team. Mr. Hutchinson was a very well-liked man. He was quiet but friendly. I will miss him and wish I could have known him longer.

ENCORE made Columbia proud in Nashville!

By Cathy Moss, ENCORE parent

We just got home from Nashville and we had a great trip. Upon arriving at Nashville we took a tour of Ft. Nashborough. Afterward we had lunch at Hardrock Cafe where the kids were invited upon the stage and performed.

We left there and went to the Country Music Hall, and after leaving there we took a tour of Studio B, a onetime recording studio of Elvis and other great singers.<

Feedback: Comment on sports LWC sports coverage

Writer praises Mr. Wells; asks for better oversight of ColumbiaMagazine.com
To Mr. Wells (LWC Sports Information Director whose articles appear in CM,

Thanks for keeping the alumni informed on all the sports under your purview!! We appreciate the expanded coverage in the Columbiamagazine.com.

One thought from a Lindsey Fan: Please insist the Columbiamagazine.com give any story a very positive headline and a very positive spin on any loss for the first paragraph or two.

Please ask them to leave the 'gory'details until the end--and make those details VERY brief. Especially when it's in regards to CU!Morris Shepherd
