An eerie piece of history: Old hearse, Delmar Burton estate Photos accompany this story By Melanie Willis I hardly ever notice anything except for the blacktop when driving, but for some unforseen reason something caught my eye today while driving down Highway 206 a few days ago. Just past Shepherd, a small wooden vehicle came into my view sitting along side the road, as I got closer I realized it was an antique hearse. What an absolutely amazing piece of history that has been stored on the late Delmar Burton farm for the last 20-30 years. Curiosity getting the better of me, I came home, notified Frankie Burton, (a son of Delmar Burton), grabbed my camera and went back to get a better view and a few photos.
