Drug arrest by CPD follows traffic stop Columbia Police arrested Zachariah Davis, 21, Louisville, KY, after a traffic stop last night, Monday, March 26, 2007, at 11:00pm CT. Officers Brad Scholl and Terry Flatt arrested Davis and charged him with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and DUI. The arrest followed a traffic stop within the City Limits of Columbia, KY. Davis was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. Lonnie and Fran Turner arrived for African mission work supported by Campbellsville University By Linda Waggener, assistant director of university communications CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University alumnus, the Rev. Lonnie Turner, and his wife Fran spent Thanksgiving in a remote area of Zambia doing the work of digging water wells. Lonnie, a 1971 graduate, and Fran Turner are missionaries who say that they have given their lives to God's work among the African citizens. Burglars armed with handguns fit description of suspects in other local burglaries, police say. Victim calls 911 at Adair Regional Jail.
