Afghan auction will benefit CBC Youth Mission trip A silent auction by email of an afghan crocheted by Daniel Hutcheson will beneft the Columbia Baptist Church Youth Mission Trip. Daniel has a severe rare chronic illness. "The church and the community have helped him enormously in the last several years," his mother, Janet Hutcheson, said. "This is a way he can give back." And you remember when $100 an acre land with fire wood if not marketable timber, was plentiful, back when you could have bought the whole downtown, less the banks, for a piddling $1.2 million as appraised by the late Coy Downey.
