The Adair County High School girls basketball team defeated Green County in the first round of the 5th Regional Tournament at Green County tonight, with a stunning 51-40 upset victory, advancing to the semi-finals. Liaisons to SBDMs chosen by drawing. Change orders approved, 4-1 for Athletic Building By Ed Waggener The Adair County Board of Education held the first of its four times a year semi-monthly meetings on Thursday: March 1, 2007, and dealt mostly with academic matters, as planned when the board went to a 12 times a year 3rd Thursday, four times a year 1st Thursday, schedule. The third Thursday meetings are to be used mainly for school business matters. Two Site Based Decision Making (SBDM) Councils, from the Adair County High School and Adair Middle School appeared before the board, to discuss each school's C-SIP, or Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
