The drawing of Plum Point Bridge gets more accolades; agreement that Adair County ought to be a major tourist attraction

To the Ed., ColumbiaMagazine.com:

The drawing of Plum Point Bridge by Shannon Feese is absolutely breath-taking!

Beautiful to say the least.

Richard and Matt Hovious just made by day by saying "Adair County ought to be a major tourist attraction." I've been preaching that for years. I whole heartily agree with them. Adair County is truly blessed with outstanding artisans and attractions.

Letter: The morning Knifley wasn't there

To the editor, CM:

It's my sorry duty to report that beautiful downtown Knifley is no more! When I stepped out this morning and looked down the hollow and across the valley, there was no Fire Department, Baker's, Crossroads or houses. Evidently living this close to a Crusty Ole Fool became too much of a burden and they all packed up and moved out in the middle of the night leaving just a thick white haze where they usta wuz! Miss Emily assures me that once the sun comes out they will return but I have my doubts.

Feedback: Albany library has only Clinton flood maps

Situation at Adair County Library not unusual, writer says

To the Editor, CM

The "one" map is not unusual... I went to the Clinton County Library last week and looked at the Corps maps they have there - they also only have those pages detailing flood possibilities within Clinton County itself. *shrug* :)Kim Warner
