Children's advocacy center in Jamestown closed for now Investigation by Kentucky State Police, Attorney General's office temporarily closes Children's Advocacy Center in Jamestown, but there will be no interruption of services. Center says statement on the case will come from Kentucky State Police. Notice of Public Hearing re: Arnold's Landing PUBLIC HEARING Under the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (Public Law 88-578), citizens are afforded the opportunity to express their views concerning the recreational needs of their community. To provide a forum for discussion, an open meeting is being held on February 9, 2009, at 9:00 A.M. CST in the Adair County Courthouse Annex, Columbia, KY, sponsored by the Adair County Fiscal Court and the Lake Cumberland Area Development Association. The specific purpose of this meeting is to discuss: Applying for a grant for improvements to Arnold's Landing, Mt. Carmel Boat Ramp.
