The true problem is infrastructure. How are we going to provide for large corporations when we do not have the roads, water, sewer, phone or internet they require. In providing these services, Adair County is easily 20 years behind the rest of the country. Proposed rules: Inclusions, extensions in the Adair Roads system Complete text of Judge Meltons proposed new guidelines, with stiffer requirements for developers, others who want county to take over ownership, maintenance of roads, presented here for public to study The agenda item on the Tuesday, January 9, 2006, Fiscal Court to clarify strengthen the rules for inclusions and/or extensions in the Adair County Road System was tabled. The measure was presented by Judge Ann Melton to assure minimal standards for roads in the system, particularly for subdivision roads. Magistrates asked for more time to study the measure.
