Wendell Hoover, of Columbia, was traveling southbound towards Columbia, KY, driving a 1987 Chevy truck and attempted to pass a Massey-Ferguson tractor operated by David Chrisman, also of Columbia. Does anybody remember a Hanging Tree on Snake Creek Road? Susie Grant wonders about the existence of a Hanging Tree on Snake Creek Road; historian Jason Harmon couldn't find anything on that legend. He'll keep working on it. But he did offer some fascinating legends from the area? Warning: It is spooky, with creaking ghost wagonwheels, a baby in a well.
