ADM spokesman welcomes Baa Land Feeds into family of dealerships, details major companies combined by Archer Daniel Midlands to create the new feed giant
ADM Alliance Nutrition educator Sam Bates welcomed one of the company's newest dealerships, Baa Land Feeds, and its owner, Phillip Richard into the family of dealers, Tuesday evening.

Despite cold weather and spotty road conditions, a large number of invited cattlemen were on hand at a ribeye steak dinner and seminar hosted by Baa Land Feeds and Alliance Nutrition at Sparksville Elementary School for the event.

More identifications for Hopkins School Photo have arrived

Lila Ford has submitted several more names to the identification of the Hopkins School Grades 1-8 1948-49 Photo. Now only about six full names and a few first names are needed to complete the identificatons.

In March of 1951 the Cuba Cubs lost the final game of the state basketball tournament to Clark County by 25 points. Dejected and disappointed they began the eight hour drive back to Graves County.

Students invite everyone to participate in Kick Butts Day
Dear Editor,

On April 5, 2006, the Adair County High School SADD/Champions club would like to encourage youth all across America to take a stand against tobacco use. April 5th is Kick Butts Day. KBD is a great opportunity to kick the habit, talk to your children about not smoking, and simply say no to tobacco. For a healthy environment, participate in the annual KBD!
