The hill at the intersection of Hwy 206 and Sanders Ridge Road has always been known as the Dug Hill, so that makes at least two such hills and could there be others?

LETTER: School official requests comments on school uniforms

Comments are being opened on the subject, at request of school official

I think comments would allow the SBDM council to carefully consider the issue. I hope you will reconsider allowing comments to be made.

Cyrus / Downtown fashion deals, early 1946

The letter about shopping at Lerman's and The Style Shop piqued my curiosity, so out came backward-looking crystal ball to check for downtown fashion deals in days of yore. As fate would have it, the past revealed was that of sixty years ago--early 1946.
