Letter: Ann Heskamp Curtis adds details for Bryan Gaskins aerial photo The following was posted as a comment Sunday, October 9, 2005 I know we're supposed to be looking at the people and activities in the photos of Downtown Days, but I can't keep from looking over their shoulders at the beautiful, historic buildings of downtown Columbia behind them. I love the photo made from the ladder truck looking north from the Square. The Collins building is the oldest on the Square, built in 1818 by one of the Creel Brothers, and his home just down the street was built the same year (Grissom Funeral Home.)
