YOU CAN HELP: Relief heading to Gulf from Adair County Friday morning, September 2, The Bank of Columbia, Jamestown Street Branch beside Wal-Mart, was a staging ground for local donations of emergency supplies for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Another trip with supplies is being planned now. Call Doug Campbell at 384-0601, or watch for the trailer beside the Bank of Columbia at Wal-Mart toward the end of this week. Desperate needs are: power strip plugs, blankets, pillows, air mattresses, cots, toiletries, underwear.
