William Irvin Sneed, 86, World War II veteran, dies

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 19, 2005, at 2:00 p.m., at Grissom Funeral Home for William Irvin Sneed, 86. Bro. Raymond Martin will officiate.

Mr. Sneed, a resident of Summit Manor, died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at 12:05 a.m., at Westlake Regional Hospital.

  • Adair rate is up 1.2% from December; down 1% from year ago
  • County's employment third best in the seven-county Greater Adair Area
FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 17, 2005) - Unemployment rates dropped in 97 Kentuckycounties between January 2004 and January 2005, rose in 17 counties and sixcounties stayed the same, according to the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training in the Education Cabinet.
