Preparing country hams for KY State Fair

Allee Campbell, Claire Loy and Ava Loy were working at the Adair County Extension Office Tuesday, making final preparations for their hams which will be judged in the Kentucky State Fair 4-H Ham Project this Thursday.

Their hams will be judged and they will be giving a speech on the history of country hams. Senior 4-H members will give a speech on the pests that affect hams and how to control them. Adair County will have 32 youth participating among over 900 in the 4-H Ham Project.
