CHOMPING MY BITS FOR LAUGHTER

Send me back for a moment to my days of innocence.
"Ike" was President - flocks of free roaming chickens.
Ever so careful with each step that was taken.
Now everyone totally coming unglued in every direction.

Plow mules out in the pasture - calmly at peace, grassing.
Tractors a rarity but protective neighbors so friendly.
Scarcely an unidentified car passenger - no drug trafficking.
Sitting in my 'Man Room' - 'chomping my bits' for laughter.
