Christmas Star

2020-12-21 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Family members were watching the sky in the west from different locations. This is the view from Community Medical in Columbia looking out at New Columbia. Two cousins saw the sky through a telescope. Mitchell in Bowling Green wrote, "Took the telescope out to see the "Christmas Star" and it was amazing. To see Saturn's rings and the moons of Jupiter all at once is a great experience."

Julie in Indianapolis wrote, "We saw the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn! And as we drove home to read the story of the Christmas star that led the wise men to Jesus, we realized that Jeremiah the prophet foretold the birth of Jesus too. What a magical night filled with meaning for us! It reminded us that the God who moves the planets is still (and always) holding us in the palm of his hand."
