Preparing for groundbreaking

Ground was prepped for the ceremony officially welcoming the Dairy Queen team to what will be the site of the new building scheduled to open in November 2020. The site is the former location of C.J. Holt's service station at the corner of Jamestown Street, Tutt Street and Curry/Bomar Heights Street in Columbia. Mayor Hoots said a recent check of traffic shows that between 14,000 and 15,000 vehicles pass this way each day.
