Elizabeth Smith fighting for her life, prayers sought by family

2020-02-22 - Adair County, KY - Photo from family collection.

Adair County High School designated Thursday, February 20, 2020 as PHight For Liz Day in honor of Elizabeth, an ACHS freshman who is battling a rare disorder called Pulmonary Hypertension or PH. "I know you all have been praying for our family day and night and we sure appreciate it. If you will, please continue to help us bear this burden. Also, it has been an awesome sight to see everyone wearing their purple in honor of Elizabeth and the fight against Pulmonary Hypertension.

"This is such a horrible, deadly disease that very few people know about. Thanks to my hero, Elizabeth, more people in our communities have a better understanding about this life-robbing disease. Thanks to all of you for showing your support to her, and our entire family..."
