Thinking of the loss to our community - Mayor Pat Bell always worked hard to make this a better place and he especially worked as a communicator with both parties. In these photos by Ed Waggener from ColumbiaMagazine.com archives, Mayor Bell is shown in the photo at left introducing Kentucky's Senator and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on a visit to Columbia. In the photo at right, he is pictured talking with then Gov. Steve Beshear at right, in the Edmonton Courthouse.
