Lee Ann Jessie makes plea for homeless at City Council

Lee Ann Jessie, representing J.O.Y. Ministries, appealed to the Columbia City Council and will be going on to the Fiscal Court meeting next week, beginning conversations about help for the homeless in Adair County. The Ministry will no longer be able to provide help for the homeless and near-homeless after their open daytime hours and they also need a change in the place people in urgent situations are housed for a night.
