ACSO investigating vehicle crash into home, storage building

2018-06-11 - Russell Springs Road/Bill Turner Roads, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
The Adair County Sheriff's Department is investigating a single vehicle accident that injured the driver and resulted in damage to two properties around 1:30pmCT Monday, June 11, 2018. Mrs. Rebecca Grant was in her home with her daughter Diane Coomer when they heard what sounded to them like an explosion at the back of the house. The sound had been that of a pickup truck knocking their storage building off its foundation before traveling and hitting the home next door. Two calls were going in to dispatch at the same time. The white truck in the upper middle background is Lynn's Service Center, backed in to load the wrecked pickup truck lodged in the back side of the home. More will be posted when available from the Adair County Sheriff's Office. - LW
