2018-05-30 - Cranmer Dining Center, Lindsey Wilson College - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Outstanding Business/Professional Man of the Year is Richard Phelps, center, Vice President of Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. The announcement of his winning was presented by Sue Stivers, Executive Director of Columbia Adair Tourism, second from left, who complimented his devotion to his community, the many activities he is involved in, including the Chamber of Commerce. She said that she had observed his service over the years to every detail, even to perfectionism in a very good way for family and community. Pictured are Rep. Bam Carney, Stivers, Phelps, Chamber President Pam Hoots and Chamber Executive Director Ellen Zornes.
