Route of 400 Mile Yard Sale - from Wes Watt KYTC District 3

2018-05-29 - US 68 - Kentucky - Photo from Wes Watt, Public Information Officer, KYTC District 3, Bowling Green, KY. During this the May 31, and June 1-3, 2018 days of the 400 Mile Yard Sale, Wes Watt reminds motorist that: "Slower traffic, distracted driving, increase in pedestrians, sight distance limitations and unusual parking conditions are some of the challenges motorists will face during this event. Motorists should always be aware of their surroundings. Slow down and be on the lookout for pedestrians, especially children. Just like in a construction zone, pay close attention when traveling through an area where multiple yard sales are taking place. Don't allow electronic devices to be a distraction." Taking these simple steps can greatly reduce the risk of vehicle crashes and pedestrian strikes.
