Mr. Richard Phelps, above in a file photo by Ellen Zornes, will portray Daniel Trabue, Revolutionary War veteran, merchant, justice of the peace, co-founder of the Town of Columbia, KY, speaking at the next regular meeting of the Adair County Genealogical Society and friends, at the Adair Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, on April 2, 2018, at 5pmCT. Richard Phelps will reprise his role as Col. Daniel Trabue for assembled members and friends. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the moving tribute presented by Richard Phelps. Light refreshments will be served. - Mike Watson. The photo above was taken during a video filming session in 2013 and posted September 9, 2018. The photo is by Adair Heritage President Ellen Zornes. who wrote at the time, "Visitors to the Trabue-Russell House were greeted by the master of the house himself, Daniel Trabue, aka Richard Phelps. The period outfit was a big hit with the steady stream of visitors to the historic home."
