Glasgow man falls from bridge

Paul Huffman of Glasgow was heading south on Burkesville Road when he lost control on the bridge due to icy conditions. Huffman struck the bridge but was uninjured. A passing motorist stopped to offer assistance to Huffman, and then a third vehicle lost control on the ice and struck Hoffman’s vehicle.

During this chain of events, Huffman lost his footing and began to stumble on the icy bridge. Huffman was unable to gain stability and he fell over the side of the bridge, dropping approximately 50 feet to the ground below. He was airlifted to UofL Hospital from TJ Health of Columbia.
