Adair County School Districts National Board Certified Teachers

The Adair County School District has 13 National Board Certified Teachers, 12 of whom are pictured above with Dr. Pam Stephens, far right, in the lobby of Adair County Primary Center. Above are, from left, Debbie Bradshaw - ACES, Denise Grant - ACHS, Sarah Burton - ACPC, Lisa Godsey - ACES, Cindy Walker -ACMS, Jennifer Kemp - ACES, Sommer Brown - ACES, Shay Knifley , Tobie Harmon, Pam Phipps, and Amber Bledsoe, all ACPS the NBCT Teacher most recently certified, Matt Willis - ACHS. Kirby Hancock - ACHS, the 13th NBCT teacher, was not available for the photo, taken Friday, March 9, 2018. The 13 total NBCT teachers make up the largest total number of National Board Certified teachers of any School District within Adair and surrounding counties. Academic Dean Phyllis Curry is a strong advocate of the degree. - Ed Waggener
