Scenic Adair County, KY: Shady Lane, late winter 11 Mar2018

2018-03-13 - Shady Lane, north of W Page Street, Russell Heights, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
In late winter, Sunday, March 11, 2018, curving Shady Lane presented an invitation into promising spring colors of white and green, blue and red. For a very few old-timers, there are memories of the days when this was the beginning of a trip to Campbellsville, Lebanon, Bardstown, and Louisville, when it was still KY 55 north, Campbellsville Road, KY. Very pleasant memories - but this is one area where "progress" has really meant visual improvement from 75 years ago. - EW
