Rev. Bobby Bowe, left, and Santa Fee Baptist Church Associate Pastor Samuel Hughes were among the veterans honored at the VFW Post 6097 breakfast on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Rev. Bowe served in the 4th & 39th Field Artillery HQ Battery in Ft. Bragg, NC, during the Vietnam War, though he was never sent to the combat zone; Rev. Samuel Hughes, right, saw service in the war.
