Every so infrequently, we like to post a photo of the historic Adair County Courthouse. This eleven o'clock clocktower photo is seen through the roses - the last of summer? - from Burkesville Street - a reminder that groups working toward preserving the historic Adair County Courthouse have set the date of Wednesday, September 20, 2017 for spruce up/clean up of the exterior, with help from Lindsey Wilson students in their annual Malvina Farkle day of service. Volunteers are welcome, 8amCT at the Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY, on that date.
