At the Walmart ribbon cutting and grand re-opening

Columbia residents enjoyed getting their first look at the newly remodeled Walmart Supercenter at a grand reopening ribbon-cutting today. Store employees from this region as well as from Arkansas were joined by the Chamber of Commerce board for the official event. From left are Chamber representatives Sherry Selby and Linda Fitzpatrick; Walmart Associate Brenda Bennett; Chamber board member Ann Martin; Walmart Training Academy leader Robin Smith; Associates David Jessie, Jackie Graves, Carmella Mings, Steve Parson, Store Manager Sam Scharbrough, Vickie Clark and David Sharp; Chamber representatives Abe Cross, Ellen Zornes, Sue Stivers and Woody Sharpe. Following the ceremony were refreshments and vendors providing samples and giveaways.
