Students from Cumberland County Middle School, from left: Nevin Hicks, Laric Horton, Alexander Newell, and Cyrus Vincent, recently participated in the Guys Geared Up for Technology, Engineering, Computers and Science (G2-TECS), at Somerset Community College. G2-TECS was created as a way to encourage male students to consider mathematics-oriented and science-oriented careers, to gain confidence in doing mathematics and science and to take advanced level mathematics and science courses in high school. - Allison Horseman, SCC
