Rides X: This one is a delightfully aging landmark pickup truck

2016-08-06 - Near U.S. Post Office, 800 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Tommy Bailey.
"Every time I frequent the Post Office my eyes always zoom in on this old pickup. I guess because old trucks are my thing. I don't see it as unsightly peace of rusting junk, but a landmark. Couldn't help but notice the chrome rims around the headlights seem to be doing well." - Tommy Bailey Readers: It's definitely General Motors - appears to be more Chevrolet than GMC. But we'd love an expert to weigh in. My first vehicle was a similar truck. It had a straight six, and was great to drive, except for the time spent unlocking the stick shift linkage about once a day when it would get stuck. - EW.
The next previous ride: Rides IX: Joey Tucker 1955 Chevy Ton-&-A Half at Bread of Life
