July 2, 2016 morning sunshine put a spotlight on the Lincoln County Courthouse on a recent trip. As I studied the architecture, flags and landscape, I found myself wishing Columbia would be next in line to bury electric lines in our historic downtown. The subject has been brought up in the past at City Council meetings and always dismissed as "too expensive", however, many towns our size are finding the money for this improvement and I think we can, too. -- LW
