Three Taylor County Sheriffs get together

2016-05-25 - Downtown Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Larry Smith, FM 99.9 the Big Dawg & FM 92.7 the WAVE.
It's not often that 3 people that have served as Sheriff of Taylor County get together for a little laugh and reminiscing in downtown Campbellsville. On the left is former sheriff and now Taylor County Jailer Eddie "Hack" Marcum, in the middle is former sheriff and retired Kentucky State Trooper John Shipp. Shipp was a trooper and detective at post 15 in Columbia and post 4 in Elizabethtown. On the right is Alan Newton our current sheriff and one of our more popular residents of Taylor County, Newton won the past two elections by a landslide. This photo will likely be used in our bicentennial celebration in 2017. The city of Campbellsville will turn 200.
