Jones Chapel Church celebrates Joseph Parnell Day

Today, Sunday May 15, 2016 was declared Joseph Parnell Day at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr.Parnell was honored by his Church family for his service to the Church for the the past 60 years as Sunday School Superintendent . Mr. Parnell became Sunday School Superintendent on May 15, 1956 at 19 years of age. Joseph is known and loved throughout the county and was a teacher in the Adair County School system for 30 years. Pictured from left, are Timmy Marr, daughter Ann Marr, Mr Parnell, his wife Norma Jean Parnell and daughter Pam Jones.
