April Child Abuse Prevention month proclaimed in Adair

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Child Abuse Prevention Month has been observed each April since its first presidential proclamation in 1983. In accordance with this Adair County officials have proclaimed this month to raise awareness that all children deserve to grow up in a happy, healthy environment.
