A look up just one week ago, after our area received over a foot of snow plus a layer of ice, got this very different view from today's balmy breezes. Thanks to everyone who shared photos of their super white world. Only a few patches of snow remain now and my Grandaddy Marcum would say it's just waiting there for more snow. He had many sayings about the weather and signs in the sky -- every movement of the creator had meaning for what us humans should be doing on earth. He'd be getting ready to observe Groundhog day coming up in a couple of days and making all sorts of planting plans from there.
