Historical play 17 & 20 Oct 2015: Lizzie Mears - River of Dreams The historical play "Lizzie Mears – River of Dreams," will be presented in Greensburg the Saturday nights of October 17 and 24. Lizzie operated a massive farm on Pittman Creek during the first half of the 20th century, and was partners in a Columbia saw mill. Columbia native Maude Thomas, her housekeeper for 45 years, is also in the play. The production begins at 6pmCT, both nights in the Greensburg Community Center, 105 West Court Street. Admission is $5, students $2, with proceeds to the Green County Historical Society.
