Huge turnout to honor Captain Grider in Campbellsville



2014-09-20 - 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Larry Smith, The Big Dawg, 99.9 FM radio. Crowds have appeared all along the procession route carrying Fallen Firefighter Captain Tony Grider Home to Adair County. In Campbellsville, where he was an officer in the Campbellsville Fire Department, this was the scene at 4:30pmCT/5:30pmET as procession was just making it's way from Hodgenville down KY 210, about 20 minutes before its scheduled passage through Campbellsville. From Campbellsville, the procession will travel south into Adair County, entering Columbia on Campbellsville Street, and will circle the Historic Courthouse and exit north to Grissom Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia. Large crowds are expected to stand in silent honor of much loved local civil servant and friend. Capt.
