2014-02-22 - 210 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
One of the world's most colorful sports takes center stage
today and tomorrow in Adair County. The races are the big thing, but there are also scenes like this one yesterday afternoon when dozens of cyclists went on an impromptu ride across the Lindsey Wilson A.P. White Campus, seeming to zoom around the Administration building out of nowhere, and in no time flat, had disappeared over Lindsey Hill. The Lindsey Wilson cycling team hosts the Lindsey Wilson College Road Race and Criterium today and tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, February 22-23, 2014 in Columbia, KY. The Lindsey Wilson time trial, starts at 8amCT, Saturday morning, is a 12K out-and-back course, which starts at Kelleyville Church, 77 Kellyville Road, Columbia, KY, The road race, a 25 mile loop, starts at 12pm noon CT, at Purdy Church, 8004 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. The criterium race is Sunday, February 22, 2014 starting at 9amCT, a one kilometer, four corner race on Adair County High School property at 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY.
