Cleanup underway Sunday afternoon on Taylor Tire Sales

2012-12-10 - South Columbia Avenue, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener. CM photo.. Sunday afternoon, December 9, 2012 - the site of the devastating fire which temporarily closed the 51 year old Taylor Tire Sales was being cleared of debris, and utilities workers were setting a new pole on South Columbia Avenue in Campbellsville. The photo was taken from just north of Buckhorn Creek. On the left can be seen the Campbellsville School District Central Office. Beyond the orange trackhoe, faintly visible, is a heap of ruined tires. Owners Tony and Ronnie Knifley have vowed to rebuild the business, founded in 1961 by their father, the late Travis Knifley, according to information given to us by Larry Smith, Operations Manager of FM 99.9, The Big Dawg. - Linda Waggener
