2012-11-28 - 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Birds of Kentucky: Don't know what, exactly, to call it. Some would call it a Venue of Vultures, some a Wake of Vultures. Nuances may depend on what the two dozen or so are up to. If birds of a feather do flock together, they were assuredly turkey vultures, not the seemingly more prevalent and more than a little black vulture dudes. These have distinctive turkey vulture red heads. - EW
