New Bridge on Walnut Grove Road nearly complete

2012-11-14 - Walnut Grove Road, Adair County District 3, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Adair County Roads Superintendent Jobe Darnell reported to Fiscal Court Tuesday night that this bridge on Walnut Grove Road lacks only the completion of the new bridge approaches to be put into use soon. Darnell had high praise for the Adair County Regional Jail inmates who did the concrete finish work. Walnut Grove Road connects KY 704 near Hadley's Community Church with the Chance Community. In the foreground is the dry bridge being replaced. The stream makes a second crossing on the road, which will still utilize an existing dry bridge. The new construction is in Adair County District 3, Sammy Baker, Magistrate. Clicking ReadMore accesses full Fiscal Court Report for Tuesday, November 13, 2012
