2012-11-11 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Cook it good and they will come - There was parking and, praise be, Double Parking on the Square in Downtown Columbia on Friday night, November 9, 2012, as diners coming to the three downtown restaurants filled all the parking spaces on the west side of the Square, and many of the others. But there is this sad note: Smokie, the Downtown Dog of the Night, died the next day, Saturday, November 10, 2012. - Ed Waggener
